Around 70 Dogs, Two Donkeys, and a Pig Were Found Starving and Riddled With Parasites at a Florida 'Rescue'

A woman in Crestview, Florida, ran an at-home rescue where roughly 70 dogs, two donkeys, and a pig were left to suffer in severe neglect. Many were infested with parasites, sick with untreated diseases, and left without enough food or water.

Around 70 Dogs, Two Donkeys, and a Pig Were Found Starving and Riddled With Parasites at a Florida 'Rescue'

At a property on Auburn Road in Crestview, Florida, what was supposed to be a safe haven was anything but. Around 70 dogs, two donkeys, and a pig were crammed into a place where help never came, and where their suffering was allowed to drag on day after day.

When deputies finally reached the animals, the scale of the neglect was staggering. The animals were infested with parasites, and some had grown so desperate that they had swallowed foreign objects, including leashes and collars. Many were left without enough food or water to survive.

Beneath the surface, untreated disease was eating away at them. Animals carried chronic conditions left to fester, including heartworm disease and painful hoof infections, with no relief and no treatment for the agony they were enduring.

A veterinarian who examined them concluded that the animals had endured severe and prolonged neglect, resulting in significant and unnecessary suffering. On March 25, 2026, the facility was raided and all of the animals were finally removed from that misery.

Sign now if you agree that what happened to these animals was wrong, and that the person responsible should never be allowed to keep animals again.
