When officers were dispatched to investigate, they discovered the puppy dead in a wooded area near where it all happened.
The footage that surfaced is almost too painful to describe. In a Facebook Live video, the man was seen holding the puppy out over an open fire. Then he dropped the animal directly into the flames.

What makes it even more chilling is what came afterward. Following his arrest, the man admitted to burning the puppy during a recorded jail call, leaving no doubt about what was done to this innocent creature.
